Podiatrist Opportunity
We’re hiring a Podiatrist – join our multi-disciplinary clinic in London’s bohemian and arty Hackney.
Due to expansion at our Podiatry and multi-disciplinary clinic in London’s bohemian and arty Hackney, we are looking for a fantastic Podiatrist to join our friendly team.
About You
You might be an experienced or newly qualified Podiatrist – the most important thing is that you care deeply about what you do and are eager to learn, and we’re here to support you with the rest! You will start part time (working as much as you want to) and there is scope to grow your list. Here you have the opportunity to see a varied caseload, while receiving complete admin support, benefitting from full mentorship and support at every level.

Reception & Operations
Receptionist/Admin Assistant – Part-time
Our busy clinic is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our hardworking reception team in Hackney.
We are looking for an efficient, fast and assertive person with administrative experience. You will be an expert multi-tasker who can juggle a variety of tasks throughout the day – from managing a busy diary and daily accounting to assisting the very busy owner.
This is an exciting and multifaceted part-time, self-employed role, split over weekdays and some Saturdays.
We want to find the right person for this role and as such have some non-negotiables.
Please only apply if you meet the following essential criteria, and please write about these in your application:
- Experience as an Administrator, Receptionist, or you are a trainee in Podiatry, Osteopathy, Massage Therapy or Acupuncture and looking for a part-time clinic role alongside studies.
- Fluency using Windows PC and Microsoft Office package
- Marketing experience including using social media
- Able to work and communicate with speed while conveying effortless warmth
- Assertive, sharp, motivated and committed
- Able to work part-time on weekdays plus some Saturdays, some holiday cover, with the opportunity to increase hours as you develop in the role.
- The ability to carry out the responsibilities listed below, drawing from your previous experience
Responsibilities include:
- Reception duties including liaising with patients and providing excellent customer service.
- Booking appointments and managing the diary.
- Managing accounts and creating invoices.
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Using Microsoft programs daily (Excel proficiency essential)
- Assisting the very busy owner of our business.
- Admin duties including writing and maintaining records.
- Updating website and marketing materials.
- Managing social media and newsletter communications.
- Ordering stock.
- Delegating workloads to other team members.
The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Be extremely efficient and enthusiastic, with a “can do” attitude.
- Able to build and maintain positive relationships with patients and practitioners.
- Excellent memory and record-keeping skills.
- Prioritises tasks according to urgency and importance
- Be a proactive self-starter who displays initiative and uses common sense.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Have the self-motivation to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Proficiency using Windows, Microsoft Office (including Excel and Outlook) WordPress, Canva and social media.
- Knowledge of clinical medicine or musculoskeletal therapies is advantageous but not essential.
- A good understanding of accounts and a great head for numbers.
- A customer-focused approach.
- A keen interest in all things health related.
