What is a Medical Pedicure and why is it different?
Your safety is our priority. Unlike a high-street pedicure, which is purely cosmetic and often uses communal water baths, a Medical Pedicure is a clinical procedure performed in a sterile environment and following strict medical protocols. Every instrument used in your treatment is either disposable, or has been professionally cleaned and sterilised in an autoclave, which ensures the highest level of hygiene and eliminating the risk of cross-contamination.
We perform our treatments on dry feet rather than soaking them in water. When skin is wet it swells, making it difficult to see the true extent of calluses and hard skin. By working on a dry foot, our Podiatrists and Foot Health Practitioners can achieve more precise skin removal, delivering exceptionally long-lasting and smooth results.
What can I expect?
Treatment begins with a refreshing spritz to cleanse the feet, followed by foot examination, diagnosis and other recommendations. Then begins nail cutting, nail reduction where appropriate, filing, removal of callus and corns, and a smooth finish with an optional luxurious oil and clinical massage.
