🧡 World Mental Health Day: Real voices, real change
Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day, with this year’s theme: “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change.”
As we settle into autumn, with shorter days and darker evenings, it’s a good time to pause, check in with ourselves and think about how we’re really feeling — physically, mentally and emotionally. 🍂
Life can be busy, and it’s easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the list. But looking after yourself isn’t selfish; it’s essential.
Comparing ourselves to those who seem to have it all together, or trying to keep up with influencers giving you 30 days to reset and make your life perfect is exhausting (and not a healthy way to live). Rest assured, we are all winging it and NO you don’t need a Pumpkin casserole dish, and several spiced candles to landfill your seasonal home! 🎃
Your physical and mental wellbeing are connected. Whether you’re managing pain, feeling tense, struggling to switch off or simply in need of some time for yourself, taking a little time out can make a difference.
That can be a ten minute reset walk, no podcast, no music, just you and a good pair of shoes! We do not always need to be switched on or learning or catching up. Just stop and breathe in the crisp cool air that this season gives us.
Here at the clinic, we offer a welcoming space to look after yourself or just be, with a range of treatments to support your physical comfort and wellbeing.
🦶 Podiatry – helping & empowering you to manage foot pain, improve comfort and mobility, and stay active doing the things you enjoy. We’ll also cut through the fluff and tell you which shoes you should actually be wearing!
🌿 Acupuncture – can help you to ease certain types of pain and tension, while providing an opportunity to pause and relax.
💆 Massage therapy – ease muscular tension, encourage relaxation & lymph movement or just an hour to be still!
🧡 A friendly face and a listening ear – sometimes, just having a chat and some bants with our very human team at the front desk is all you need to put a spring (or autumn) in your step! We are always here to advise, listen or just to keep you company. Having the space to talk and feel heard can be just as important as taking care of your physical health.
Everyone’s experience is different, and every story deserves to be heard. You don’t have to have everything figured out, and you don’t have to wait until you’re struggling to prioritise yourself.
Take a moment. Check in with yourself. Give yourself permission to take care. We’re here to help you look after your wellbeing, one step at a time.
👋 Meet our new team members!
With Kat busy doing brilliant work in massage and colonic hydrotherapy, we’re delighted to welcome Adam to front of house and Ursula to our podiatry team.

Someone had to step up and keep us all in line — enter Adam!
Adam joins us from the fast-paced world of TV news, having spent four years at ITN managing rosters for ITV News and Channel 4 News, coordinating more than 200 staff and freelancers through major events, elections and breaking news at 3am. If he can handle that, he can probably handle my endless to-do lists and high standards!
Before television, Adam worked in healthcare. During COVID, he led the vaccination project at Homerton Hospital and helped run the mass vaccination clinic at Hackney Town Hall, where his team delivered more than 1,500 vaccinations in just two days.
He’s also a qualified FA referee, so he’s used to making calm decisions under pressure. And yes, he’s already been told he can’t show me the red card!! 🟥
Next time you pop in, say hello to Adam — he’ll be the friendly face welcoming you at reception, and is already a mine of information on what we offer and how we can help you.

After a long and arduous search (Podiatrists are the unicorns of the healthcare world 🦄) we’re thrilled to welcome Ursula to the team, all the way from sunny Adelaide.
Ursula qualified from the University of South Australia in 2014 and brings extensive podiatry experience, alongside a background playing basketball at a high level in Australia’s Premier League and WNBL1. Her sporting experience gives her a real understanding of sports injuries and helping people get back to doing what they love.
From general foot care and injury management to ingrown toenail surgery, Ursula is here to help keep your feet healthy and comfortable.
Outside the clinic, she loves the gym, plays social netball and is a self-confessed coffee addict and foodie — so Broadway Market should suit her perfectly! She also enjoys live music, art exhibitions and exploring London.
🍂 Make a little time for yourself
Whether you need help with a niggling foot problem, relief from muscular tension or simply want to take a positive step towards looking after yourself, we’re here to help.
