Happy January!
Typically January is a month of grey days and post holiday blues. It is also a chance to start a clean sheet… I’m not talking about huge, unrealistic resolutions but simply making some sustainable changes to how we do things. Maybe, a deep clean of your bedroom, a change to the way you eat perhaps cutting out a food that you know makes you feel less energetic than you’d like to. Activity and exercise are often top of the list in January, just be sure to go slowly so that you don’t injure yourself.
Make a list and refer to it each week to keep you on track.
These are the things that bring me deep joy in January;
- My slow cooker
- Knowing the bulbs in my garden are frozen and sleepy
- Putting my Christmas decorations away carefully making a note of anything I need to replenish
- The last of the long cosy evenings snuggling up with my family and new puppy Teddy
