Tracy Byrne on BBC Radio London

Tracy Byrne on BBC Radio London

A black and white landscape portrait of Tracy Byrne, a smiling white woman. She wears a black on white polka dot shirt. Her hair is dark and curly and she looks welcoming. Plants are visible in the background.

Our lead podiatrist and Clinic Director Tracy Byrne was recently contacted by BBC Radio London regarding an email they received from a keen barefooter, who said he likes to walk barefoot but finds people staring at him, raising the question of whether barefoot walking is frowned upon in society today.

As Tracy has written several articles on the benefits of being a barefooted, Jo Good, the radio presenter questioned Tracy on the pros and cons of walking barefoot.

As the interview progressed it became apparent that there are a lot of people who believe in being barefoot and several called and emailed in with their personal experiences on the benefits they feel from doing so.
